Why BRICS Book of Records

A record certification platform for a changing global economy.

BRICS has become one of the most influential forces in global growth, trade, investment, technology and people-to-people cooperation.

BRICS Book of Records was created to document and certify the record-breaking achievements that define this new era — from the largest, the first and the most, to the highest, the longest and the fastest.

Every record title is grounded in evidence, reviewed through a structured adjudication process, and documented for permanent reference.

What is a Record Title?

A certified statement of measurable achievement.

Unlike an award, which honours excellence by selection, a record title is earned by evidence — it must be quantifiable, verifiable and superlative.

FirstEarliest verified achievement.
LargestGreatest size, scale or volume.
MostHighest verified quantity.
HighestGreatest height or level.
LongestGreatest length or duration.
FastestShortest verified time.

Three Complexity Tiers

Single: one principal measurable element.

Composite: multiple linked measurable elements within one title.

Super-Composite: a complex achievement requiring several simultaneous benchmarks and evidence streams.
